Job Description

The Core Application Support officer is responsible for controlling and supporting user over all issues concerning core applications. Troubleshoot and debug system issues to increase performance and quality of data.

Job Requirements



  • Understand core application functions processes, workflows and data structure
  • Maintenance, monitoring and supporting daily core application operation
  • Optimize maintenance and deployments to ensure integrated functioning through backend/B2B integration
  • Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Document and create visual representations of systems and their inputs and outputs.

Other Duties

  • Assist CBC management with other tasks as required.
  • Take initiative in doing another task appropriately
  • Other duties as assign by supervisor or line manager.


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent
  • At least one year experiences in microfinance or banking sector.
  • Good experience in RDBMS.
  • Well coordination and collaboration with others to work as a team.
  • Excellent technical communications skill and documentation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact effectively and collaboratively both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrates the ability to take the initiative and pay close attention to detail.
  • Honesty, reliability, and a commitment to strict confidentiality
  • Is self-motivated and committed to self-improvement.
