Workshop on ” The Contribution of Credit Reporting System in Credit Risk Management”

On July 20th, 2017 at Asia Euro University, Credit Bureau Cambodia (CBC) coordinated with the National Bank of Cambodia, International Financial Corporation and Asia Euro University conducted its workshop on “The Contribution of Credit Reporting System in Credit Risk Management”. The workshop was presided over by Mr. OEUR Sothearoath, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Credit Bureau Cambodia, Mr. NGET Sovannarith, Deputy Director General of Banking Supervision at the National Bank of Cambodia and Dr. CHEA Sopheap, Rector of Asia Euro University. The workshop was also attended by more than 300 students studying at Asia Euro University, majoring in accounting, banking, and economic.
The purpose of this workshop is to link theories taught in school to practical experiences in market and to raise awareness of Credit Bureau Cambodia, especially to provide additional skills to students to improve their work efficiency which could contribute to future economic development.
Credit Bureau Cambodia has always involved in humanitarian activities, sports and other knowledge sharing workshops, purposely to promote social and humanitarian activities and join hand with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to increase the quality of education through an informal education system, which is an important part of strengthening the capacity of students to be ready to take up employment opportunities after their graduation.
